Anyone know when the railroad will be closed? (due to the Fantasyland construction.)

I don't think it's going to close. They are closing the Toontown Station only, but the train will continue normal operations (last I heard).

Sneaking a peak from the train may be our best way to see what's going on in Toontown during the expansion.

From what I remember many moons ago, maybe when they were building Mickeys Starland or Birthday land, the train went around and then backed up. Never made the full 360.

That is correct the Railroad probably won't close just not complete the Grand Circle Tour.

But when they were building Mickey's Starland (or whatever it was called), didn't they have to BUILD the train station? Maybe that's why they couldn't do the full 360 around the park.

They are not doing anything to the train station, they are just closing it. The train should be able to pass by with no issue. I would think they would put up a fence/scrim of some sort in front of the station, to block the view of the work being done.

I heard from an engineer that there is a bridge that has to come down and they are getting a new, enhanced train station. Not sure if this is going to affect normal everyday travel around the park.
