Sorry for the long post, but this was interesting;
We were making our way from FW to MK and just passing river country when the captain stopped the boat. A CM came up front and pointed to WL and asked if we have ever seen "the Bear". If you look from where we were, WL looks like a big bear looking at you. The roof line coming towards you is the snout, the dormers are the ears, and the columns holding up the roof are the K-9s. The way the sun shines through the top windows make it look like eyeballs and as you move, they follow you. Erie! This was really neat to see.
We have been going to FW for 6 years straight and have never been told this before.
Have you heard this story before?:mickey:

We were lucky enough to be chosen for a fireworks cruise when the original bookers cancelled due to weather. (it was misting slightly)

The cruise takes you around Bay Lake before the fireworks being and the captain showed us this. It was great to see at night!

We saw this on a fireworks cruise during our honeymoon. We would have never noticed it if the boat driver had not told us!! It was pretty cool at the time, and remains something that we always look for:thumbsup:

That sounds very cool. Friends are staying at FW this summer. I'll be sure to pass this on them so they can check it out.

This is something that is often pointed out on the Fireworks cruises.

We took the boat back from MK after the park closed on our honeymoon in 1996, and the driver started talking to us. He told us to stay on after everyone got off and he took us back out in the water to show us "the bear". It was really neat.

We've stayed at WL twice and both times my kids loved seeing the "bear" on the boat ride back from MK at night. We were there the week before Christmas once and the garland on the balcony in that area made it look like the bear was smiling. Very cool.
