What is like the FIRST thing u do at wdw/FL? What's your favorite? Okay my family always goes right to TTA which my family used to call it Blue. Cause we forgot what it was called. So we called it the blue cart thingy. And the short verison: Blue

my family does Pirates first thing.
Then we try for harmony barber shop for haircuts (they grow it out just to get it cut there!)

That's the "first" thing I do but after that we go ride Dumbo - it is just a sentimental favorite for us.

We go straight to ToonTown to say hi to Mickey and then ride it's a small world (2 or 3 times) :mickey:

I guess we check in at the resort first, then wash up, hit DTD and Wolfgang Pucks for dinner and early to bed to get a early start in the MK the next morning. My wife has to have our girls on Dumbos 1st flight! July 9th can't come fast enough!:thumbsup:

the usual..checking in..and then go to the room..hang out there for a bit and then walk around whatever resort we are at that visit..and then on to downtown disney! :mickey:

The first thing I do, is walk under the train station and goto the flag pole and look up at the Castle. This really starts my trip off well.

Almost always after we check in we'll grab a bite to eat and then head over to MK and Space Mtn.

We get there late afternoon so we check in and
then go to Downtown Disney for supper at Wolf
Gang Puck's Express, shop then head back to
the resort so we can get an early start the next
day. We always go to Epcot first day and head

2) If room is ready, take carry-ons to room, otherwise, check carry-ons with resort
3) Grab first bus to a park - doesn't matter which park, kind of a first day surprise - whoever shows up first wins!!

Well, we first count backwards from 10 when we see the welcome to WDW sign and then cheer when we drive under it. But our first ride is the ToT/RNR combo. Whichever one has the shorter line is our first ride. We are going in July without the kids for the first time so I'm not sure my wife will go along with tradition on this one.

It seems that our new tradition is to start with breakfast at Crystal Palace, and then on to Dumbo! :mickey:

Always check in, check out hotel, go to Magic Kingdom and go straight for Space Mountain, if it is closed we then go to Splash or BTM

Well first of all.... we get off the plane. ;)

Serious answer: on arrival day we keep it simple. The East Coast of the US is 5 hours behind UK time so it works out a long day for us. Our plane this time leaves at 10:25am in British time and before that we have to sort any last minute packing, drive to Manchester, go through check-in customs, ect. So by equivalent our plane is taking off at 5:30 in Florida time. After sorting out customs, immigration and luggage we get our rental car from the place opposite the airport and head to our accomodation. After settling in there we find somewhere to get dinner within walking distance and then call it a night. :cloud9:

The real fun starts the next day with Magic Kingdom. After getting through the turnstyles and onto Main Street we start out by catching the Walt Disney World Railroad and heading for Mickey's Toontown Fair. We have a look round here, have a ride on the Barnstormer to begin our list of rollercoasters and then head off for tomorrowland - stopping off en-route for the tea cups. :mickey:

Always MK first... We ease our way into the day on the Railroad. We ride all the way around once, then head down Main St!

I always feel as if I'm really there in WDW when I first walk down Main Street and can see the castle in the distance. Then I walk through the castle and ride It's A Small World and Peter Pan's Flight!

Always MK. Walking under the train station and seeing the castle for the first time each trip means WELCOME HOME! Then we can do whatever we want. Only one or two trips when I didn't do that and made MK our first Full Day but the trip is never the same. I can't wait to start this tradition with my daughters in October. Then I am heading to PotC!

No kidding when we were getting tickets and I waited in the van with the rest of my family all we said was "I CAN'T BELIEVE WE'RE HERE!"

We check into our hotel, refresh our selvs and head to downtown disney and always get Ghirardelli's and take in the sights. Look around in then shops. It always takes us a while to realizw were actually here again!

Our yearly tradition for the first night is:

1. Check in
2. Have Breakfast in Everything Pop Food Court while waiting for room
3. Walk around resort
4. Go to room and take a nap
5. Shower then head to DTD
6. Have dinner at Wolfgang Puck's
7. Walk around DTD & have a few drinks
8. Head back to the room
