Ground floor room access

We've reserved BC standard-view room for our summer trip. After searching old threads and reading anything & everything I can about BC, I plan to request: a ground floor room close to Epcot OR simply a courtyard or woods view…not really wanting a view of the parking lot but will deal with it if that’s what we get.

My question (assuming we receive our requested ground-floor room: after returning to our room at the end of the day, can we enter through the patio door?

You can't use your key to enter thru the patio door, so you'd have to leave it unlocked. Thats assuming your patio is not enclosed by foliage, trees, bushes, etc...many of them are which make access difficult. We had a standard BC ground floor room booked and were placed ground floor outside of quiet pool. So close to the Epcot walkway too. Lovely. There were bushes all around it though, which made access tricky.
