Apr. 16, 1889 – Charles Spencer Chaplin, Jr., better known as actor Charlie Chaplin, was born in London England. Chaplin would have a prolific relationship with Walt Disney. He would be caricatured in the 1936 short “Mickey’s Polo Team” and even attended the Hollywood premiere of “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs” in 1937. Chaplin would also assist Walt with financial advice in helping determine what kind of proceeds should be earned from the distributor of Snow White.
