I read on the WDW Guest Services site no glass bottles are allowed (which I understand) but what about the aluminum water bottle? in the past we've always stopped by a local store and purchased a case of waters to take a few into the park each day, but DD would prefer NOT to haul all the water this trip (back issues).

Looking forward to our May trip, 48 days :mickey:

When possible, I bring a Brita filter and pitcher with us, and fill my aluminum water bottle with the filtered water every morning (after it's been cooled and some made into ice cubes). So yes, aluminum water bottles are permitted.

We had no problems last summer with the four of us each carrying an aluminum bottle.

The only food-related PROHIBITED items are glass and alcohol; glass is okay if it's a baby food jar or a perfume bottle.

In addition, Animal Kingdom doesn't allow straws, fast food-type plastic soft drink lids, and balloons.

No problem whatsoever with your aluminum water bottles.

They sell Aluminum bottles in the parks, so yes, they are allowed.
