GAD Fastpasses

Ok I know this has been talked about a lot. My question is has someone actually gotten the GAD fastpasses? If so can you explain how is works and what you actually received. I called Disney and they told me it worked like the B'day passes but then I heard you only got 4 passes. Help clarify!
