I am member #17723. I don't even remember how I stumbled onto this website but I am so glad I did. I know there are other discussion boards out there but this one is the easiest to navigate with tons more information and I particularly like that the messages are not cluttered up with pictures. I live in the country and do not have access to high speed internet....have satellite but that is still slow in comparison to the cable TV based internets....so I appreciate being able to navigate quickly through the website. I LOVE Intercot!

Well, I was already a moderator when the boards switched to what you see now. There were only 3 of us moderating back then.. myself, John and Alismom. This is the third version of software during my time here, but I happen to be sleeping (in my time zone) when John brought the new boards online. So, by the time I woke up, I was 12.

With management later taking on the lower numbers that bumped me down to 15, but I'm still emotionally attached to my #12 and claim it as my own.

I remember reading TONS on Intercot the months before I actually signed up. My daughter was born in February 2003 and I signed up in June 2003. She liked to sleep while being held, so I have many memories of reading Icot threads with a sleeping baby in my arms. :)

#11,542 - My love for Disney began earlier than my love of the internet. In the early days of my membership, I didn't post alot. The internet was very "evil" to me... never know who is on the other end, weird to talk to people you've never met... But, now, I can't live without it.

My posting was in spurts. The closer I got to a vacation, the more I was on here reading and posting. Then I've been pretty addicted the last 3 or so years with reading regularly. Only in about the last year or so have I been regularly posting.

I wouldn't have it any other way! :thumbsup:
