I have seen posts of people referring to the "talking trash can". Where is this and what does it say?

I've saw it in Tomorrowland outside of Cosmic Ray's in January. As for what it says - it just interacts with all the people around it. Very funny and clever. It's not a canned speech. There's someone controlling it that makes it actually talk to those around it and respond to them.

It's name is Push and it's pretty fun if you see him. There is a person dressed like a tourist that controls it unless they aren't dressed like a tourist anymore. If you look around you can pick them out from the rest of the crowd.

Isn't there also a talking water fountain in Epcot?

Not that I'm aware of. Were you thinking in WS or FW?

The talking trash can is in Tomorrowland at the
Magid Kingdom. It is not out all the time. It just
runs around and talks to you. There is a talking
Palm tree at the entranceto AK as well. It is
mostly out as the park opens. In Epcot there is
a talking water fountain near Mousegears and
SSE. Hope you can find them out while you are
there.
BEEN THERE, DONE THAT AND GOING BACK IN
MAY!!!!!!! :mickey::D

We could not find the talking drinking fountain in January. It wasn't where I thought it was before, but we might have missed it. At night the water also glowed mulitple colors.

I also believe Wes Palm in no longer at AK.:(

We saw the talking trash can at AK at the entry of the park. Although that has been a few years ago now.

There was one I think it was by the fountain. I remember because we have it on video from years ago and it said someting like "Hey can't you see we are having a plumbers convention down here." and there was the sound of clanging pipes. Not sure if it's still there or not.

When I was down there a couple weeks ago, the talking trashcan would come out before the afternoon parade at MK to entertain the kids while they were waiting. It was usually near the entrance to tomorrowland.

There is also a talking trash can at Rafiki's Planet Watch at Animal Kingdom. The talking palm tree (Wes Palm) is not currently in use.

According to WDW Live Entertainment he does, and he has been there whenever I use that schedule.:mickey:

I was obsessed with finding the operator of PUSH. I stood around for a good 30 min. before I spotted him. He was dressed normally and had a small bag on his shoulder with one hand in the bag, I assume to control the movements and he brought his other hand (I assume was holding a microphone) to his mouth whenever PUSH talked.

I took a photo. I will look for it and post it when I do.

Last October, we saw him everyday - almost couldn't shake him. He was in Tomorrowland around the Indy Speedway area. The operator was obvious - man in shorts, sunglasses, hat and canvas bag where he put one hand. He also had a microphone near his mouth and when he talked, he put his other hand near his mouth. Both days we saw him, it was the same operator. Man, I'd LOVE that job!!! I wonder what he makes?

I thought I'd heard that the talking recycle bin at RPW had also been canned a while back?

We saw him three times last week in Tomorrowland. He is cute! You may walk right by him if you aren't watching!

We've run into Push in Tomorrowland every visit. Now that the grandkids know he can talk to them, it's impossible to get them to move on. :D

Also enjoy Wes Palm in Animal Kingdom, but we've only spotted him twice in the last few trips.
