I know that the firestation at MK has a 1971 on it to commemorate the year the park opened, but what about the other parks - are there similar signs commemorating their openings?

I'm sure that all the parks have some kind of opening day reference in them. The "Hidden Magic" book has this info, but I can't remember them all.

Thanks for the info, AHOTE, but Maleficent was wanting to know if there were signs in each park commemorating these dates. :mickey:

Maleficent, hopefully this will assist you on your next visit to WDW.

Animal Kingdom's dedication plaque is located in The Oasis at the entrance to the park...April 22, 1998

Hollywood Studio dedication plaque stands next to the cameraman statue at the entrance to the park...May 1, 1989

Epcot's dedication plaque is located at the entrance to the park...October 24, 1982
(Since they send everyone to the left side of the entrance through security you may need to walk back to the center pathway to find the plaque.)

Magic Kingdom's dedication plaque is located near the "Sharing The Magic" statue at the front of the park...October 25, 1971

Your other option would be to ask a cast member as you enter each park as there is no indication of plaque locations on any of the park maps that I've read.
