I want to make an ADR for one meal NOT in a park, but at one of the resorts.

Our stay is May 14 - May 17th...one day park ticket (May 15th) and we are getting the Magic your Way plus dining package. We have reserved Cape May breakfast and Chef Mickey dinner. We are getting close to the trip obviously, so it will be harder to get super-popular meals. So I'm looking for your recommendations for another non-park meal.

If I understand our dining plan we have 3 nights stay so we get 3 table service meals. Long as your helpin' me out, can you tell me also - can we use the dining plan on May 14th our check in day AND May 17th our check out day???

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!

You can use your dining plan on check in and check out day. Bascially, you can blow all your dining in one day if you want! All they count is your total number credits used! You have 3 tables, 3 counter and 3 snacks. It is up to you when to use them, but yes, you can use them on checking in and out days. We always use a counter & table on check in day and a counter for breakfast on our check out day.

Resort table services. We love Kone and Ohana at the Polynesian - both have GREAT food. Also, if you are willing to go Downtown Disney, our hands down favorite table is ironically at Wolfgang Puck Cafe. We know it isn't unique to Disney, but every time we go there, we are amazed at their food.

Hope this helps!

Another vote for Ohana. The food was delicious and we liked that it was family style...gave us a nice break from buffets. Fun atmosphere as well.

Most of my favorite restaurants are not in a park. Grand Floridian Cafe, 'Ohana, Boma. Jiko, California Grill, Flying Fish, Citricos, Narcoossee's.

For us, O'Hana and Whispering Canyon (Wilderness Lodge) have become can't miss. We tried Boatwright's last time, and it was OK, but it didn't blow us away.

We've done Chef Mickey's for breakfast, never for dinner. We like the breakfast buffet.

I do! I want to try Kouzzina and Sanaa. And I forgot Raglan Road. I love that one, too. Also want to try Artist Point.

Boma at Animal Kingdom Lodge - if not for the delicious food but to see the breathtaking resort and some amazing animals. Two experiences in one!

I'll throw in my vote for Boma. I'll also add T-Rex. The layout in that place is amazing. It's just like Rainforest but with Dinosaurs. If you have kids they will definately love it. They also have a build a bear inside that has dino's. We got one for my youngest son.

Thanks so much everyone!

Do you have to make reservations at T-Rex like you do the parks?

'Ohana and Boma are two of our favorites. I used to love California Grill, but it is $$$ and quality and service have declined in the past couple of years. We just can't justify the expense of dining there.

I apologize but I missed that part of your question. T-Rex is not on the dining plan but you can make reservations for T-Rex. If you call dining to make a reservation that will transfer you to T-Rex. Again sorry for the mixup.

Definitly Wolfgang Puck at Downtown Disney, the food is awesome and you won't go away disappointed!!! We go there at least twice if not more during our trips.

Food aside, I like the Beach Club Resort. It's a beautiful place to visit and walk around the grounds:thumbsup: .
And the Cape May is a good buffet- enjoyed it twice for two Thanksgivings
