When we were there 3 years ago the strollers that you rented from Disney were the bench style for the double strollers that had the feet area. They were not desginated seats. They were actually shaped kind of like a tear drop. Can someone verify that these are the same stroller being used and not the jogging type that have defined seats.

When we rented them last time we found that we could get 3 children in there, one in the feet area if they all got tired at the same time. Looking for that same option now.

We are toying with bringing our own tandem double stroller but would be willing to rent one of these if they are the same. WE really won't be needing one around the resorts and we aren't leaving the property for any other sight seeing.

Thanks.

The strollers are different now, they aren't as wide, but they are still bench seat..don't know about squeazing 3 kids in, though..

The all ears site has a blog entry about the new strollers with lots of pics.

Thank you for that site information.

These are the same style that they had before but they are just a different color now. WE had an older child that could sit indian style at the foot area when they got tired.

they got expesive, especially the doubles.
Check into rental sites. They'll bring them to you and pick them up. We got a double jogger, with insurance, for a hundred bucks for a week.

We looked at the rental sites but we don't want to mess with trying to get them on and off the buses. We will have 4 children, 2, 3, 5 & 7 with 6 adults plus any bags for the day.

Our children are small enough to be carried out and/or large enough to walk out.

So we just really want something for in the parks.

WE had thought about bringing our own double tandem from home but it doesn't fold real compact....so again don't want to hassle with it on the buses.:mickey:

My advice would be to just rent while your in the parks. It does create less of a hassle. We have three children and found that only the youngest truly needs the stroller on a regular basis. Last year, my now 6 and 7 year old just ask to take a break and we took that opportunity to get a snack. Once done with the snack we went about our day.
