Transportation from AK and HS to MK

Just returned from our trip. Was frustrated to find out that you can't go from AK or HS directly to MK. You have to take buses to TTC and then monorail to MK. Does anyone know why the buses can't bring you right to MK like all of the resort buses do?

You could also have taken a bus to the Grand Floridian, Contemporary or Poly and transferred there.

I can't speak to why Disney routes their buses the way they do.

I remember a long while ago that they did have buses between any of the parks.

Maybe they had to downsize their staff/buses and AK and HS bus route to MK was the least used thus, the discontinued routes?

Or, the bus stops were full? or the driver was lazy?

But, I totally understand your frustration!

The parking spaces are limited and dedicated to the resorts. When the number of resorts expanded, something had to give.
