anyone notice the rotten egg smell in Club Cool at Epcot? last few times I went over the last 2 years it seems to always stink. Thinkin it might just be from all the soda that gets on the floor mixed together or something as the floor is always sticky (or just Beverley). anyone else notice this?

We noticed on both our trips, March and August, of last year. We thought it was the mix of all the soda and the sticky floors.

I've noticed the rotten egg smell when walking into Club Cool before and attributed it to the sprinkler system being used outside. Reclaimed water (used for sprinkler and irrigation needs in Florida) has a high sulfur content, which makes it smell like rotten eggs sometimes.

yea that makes since cause I always noticed it all around Innoventions, near The Land, and a few other places around Epcot on some days. Club Cool has since the rehab form Ice Station Cool imo.

I've actually noticed the sulfuric smell in a lot of places around the WDW Resort. It doesn't really bother me since I know its just the water they use. Though last year, some of the family that joined us on our trip complained about it a few times. Even complained that they could taste it in the sodas, when the Sodas tasted perfectly normal to me.

Good to know Ice Station Cool was rehabbed into something else.. I realized when I got back that I never got to try the various drinks in the cool spot at Epcot..

Thought I had some massive lapse in memory, or just kept missing it. :D Good to know they changed it, and I'm not losing my mind!

I noticed the smell a long time ago when it was still the Ice Station. Haven't noticed it since, but that might just be me focused so much on getting my Israel coke!

Yes, its the sulfur in the misters, sometimes it makes that smell. By the way if you have ever lived in Florida, you know not to park your cars by sprinklers or your car will be covered by white spots that can ruin your paint...STUPID SULFUR!!!!!
