I can remember as a kid watching Wonderful World of Disney on Sunday evenings. During the opening, they would always show scenes from "Pirates of the Carribean" from Disneyland. To this day, I can still remember my first trip to WDW at 16 (now 44) and how I felt while riding POTC for the very first time. Since then, POTC has always been at the top of my list when visiting MK (even though I'm not a fan of the semi recent changes).
What are your "signature" rides/attractions for the 4 WDW parks? Mine are:

MK - Pirates of the Carribean
EP - Spaceship Earth
DS - Tower of Terror
AK - It's Tough to be a Bug

These are the ones that have made the most indelible memories for me. They give me the biggest dose of "Disney Magic.":mickey:

For me it would be:

1. Haunted Mansion
2. Pirates of the Caribbean
3. Big Thunder Mountain Railroad
4. Peter Pan's Flight

If we count extinct attractions, I'd also have to add:

5. Mr. Toad's Wild Ride
6. 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea
7. If You Had Wings

I remember watching the Wonderful World of Disney too. And remember when they showed the pirates.

But the main memory that stuck with me was when they showed the Haunted Mansion. I just couldn't believe how they produced those ghosts dancing the waltz.......

To this day, when I hear the Haunted Mansion narrator, I am brought (in my mind) to that moment in time at home, in front of the TV, watching that Wonderful World of Disney episode - with Walt himself narrating.

I was going to name these two. My first trip way back in the 80's and the few attractions I can remember are these two, and POTC, and Kitchen Kabaret.

Now that I have kids its definetly POTC!

My memories of Disney park clips on Mickey Mouse Club (the original, replayed in syndication in later years, and then the 70s version) and Wonderful World of Disney definitely fueled my interest, and when I first went on Pirates, Small World, and Haunted Mansion, it was just incredible, even more than I imagined.

My rides:
MK- Pirates of the Caribbean
Epcot- Test Track
AK- Dinosaur
DHS- Tower of Terror

First time I went to WDW I really diden't know what to expect, needless to say after the first trip I was hooked! I remember spending most of my time in Tomorrowland, I just coulden't get enough. So I'd have to say

1. CoP - must at least 4-5 times a trip, never gets old
2.SSE
3.TTA
4.Splash Mountain
5.Delta Dream Flight (??? I know right? I loved it for some reason)

MK - Haunted Mansion/PoTC - I know I know, Big Thunder is still my favorite, but I think these are more along the lines of the original post though.

EP - Spaceship Earth

DHS - Tower of Terror
