View Full Version : MBYBBQ, Whisp Canyon, or 50's PT?

Taking my nephews for their first trip. With my kids ages will be:
8, 7, 6, and 4. My kids have been to the Backyard BBQ and loved it. We've never been to Whispering Canyon or 50's Prime Time.

I would like to try something new, but interested in your feedback. We can only choose 1 of these three...

I've never been to WC, but 50's Prime Time is great fun...especially for youngsters :mickey:

I've been to WCC and 50's. Of those two I would lean toward WCC due to the ages. I think the young ones would enjoy the activities at WCC more.

:ditto: PT is a lot of fun, but generally the adults get the references more. Kids just like seeing the grown ups get in trouble. At WCC there's lots of noise, a "horse ride" around the restaurant and lots of kid-stuff. Not to mention the excitement of just trying to get a bottle of ketchup.

I've done WCC & 50's PTC and they are both fun and have good food but I would pick WCC between the 2. I think your kids will enjoy it and the food is really good. The canyon skillet is fantastic!

Well, we never had very good experience with 50s. We went for lunch one day. It was extremely busy and our waiter wasn't as funny as we expected. The food definitely wasn't the best. I'm guessing it's usually a lot better of an experience, by everything I've heard, but we haven't gone back since to try. Whispering Canyon, though, is absolutely great. The atmosphere is amazing and the food is also.

I have only been to WCC, but we ALL loved it and had a great time.

Go to WCC and be sure to ask for ketchup and lots of refills on your drinks! ;)

Another vote for WCC! My DD (then 9) got so much ketchup for a table beside us that they gave her a tip ... she loved it :thumbsup:

WCC is more interactive, and the kids love it. 50's PT is fun, but w/ the ages of your kids, WCC is cool.
