We were supposed to go in Oct 2010, but my husband getting laid off put the kibosh on that. So now, we're planning on 2011.

I'd prefer to keep it to October, but we have some thinking to do about it. It's getting harder taking the kids out of school - especially DS who will be in high school by then. The problem is that we do NOT want to go int he summer, so taking them out of school will probably still happen - we just have to figure out when the best time to do it will be.

We tried POFQ last time and loved it, so we'll be staying there when we go.

It will be my boyfriend's first real trip...He spent one day and hit MK, Epcot, and DHS for the major attractions once about 7 years ago while he was in Orlando for a conference. It's getting harder taking the kids out of school - especially DS who will be in high school by then. The problem is that we do NOT want to go int he summer, so taking them out of school will probably still happen - we just have to figure out when the best time to do it will be.


That's the best time to take him out, beginning of the year. We are running into that ourselves. Our oldest is 13 and our youngest will turn 1 next month with 2 inbetween for a grand total of 4! Lol! We can't go in the summer because of business (not that we would even if we could). Have fun!!! Life's too short not to go!!!

Leave Louisiana (driving) on Saturday (May 22nd), spend the night in Orlando close to Disney, arrive at the Contemporary early Sunday morning (May 23rd) to enjoy a full park day. We check out on Friday, May 28th, but hope to enjoy a full park day on Friday also. Depending on how we are feeling, we can arrive home on Saturday or Sunday since Monday is Memorial Day holiday.
I'm very concerned that the parks will be very crowded, especially on Friday. When we leave depends on how tired we are of the crowds.

May 15th we arrive at our new DVC home the BLT, we are staying there until the 20th then we head down to take the 3 night Disney Cruise to the Bahamas... I am so excited it will be our first time staying at our new DVC home and my first time ever on e a cruise ship. We booked our shore excursions this past weekend so it is starting to feel more real.

Well we originally going to be staying at the cabins, but have decided to go to CBR Oct 4th-12th. We actually will be arriving on the 1st at ASMusic to go to Seaworld and BuschGardens.

We are leaving four weeks from today and staying at the BC. FOUR WEEKS!! THAT'S 28 DAYS!!!!!! Or 20 work days!!! and 8 Weekend Days!!!!!!

I am booked for my first solo trip! I'll be there August 12-20 and staying at Pop (probably...still waiting for any AP discounts!). I swore I'd never go back in the summer but its the only time the trip would fit with my last year of law school and any time at Disney is better than no time at Disney! :mickey:

Going in April 2010 for the Flower and Garden Festival and staying at POP!

Going may 13-16 without the kids and taking my sister in-law and her boyfriend for their first trip. Staying at the beach club for the first time. After that we have bay lake reserved for nov 8-19 with the kids and grandparents. We hope to switch that to the boardwalk at our seven month window but wouldn't mind bay lake if we can't.

We planned a last minute trip and are going May 27 - June 1s, Staying at All Star Music with my mom, DS5, and DD2 with the military discount. Trying to convince my hubby to go too. (I know. I know. Who in their right mind needs to be talked in to going to WDW. :mickey:) I'm looking foward to taking my DS5 to Star Wars weekend. He'll love it!

May 15th, 2010 staying at the Bay Lake Tower (our home resort) for 5 days then going on the 3 night Bahamas cruise on the Disney Wonder... YAY!

just booked a last minute april trip with a three day stay at both Kidani Village and the Fort wilderness Cabins...hoping for a very laid back and relaxing stay...will likely just do two days in the parks (using our volunteer fastpasses) to make the most of the in-park time.:mickey:
