I was just wondering if this ride might scare a 4 yr old girl?

I think most 4 year olds would be absolutely fine with it. There's really not much to scare. It's pretty mild. But there is a loud noise or two, if there's a sound sensitivity, and maybe Figment would bother a few kids? I don't know your 4-year old. But I can't really imagine a problem for most.

I agree with Sherri. Most of the times where Figment is going to do something loud, he warns you first. (If I remember correctly.) Everything is done in a very cartoon-like manner. Plus, you can sit close to your child in the ride vehicles and give a little hug if he starts to get upset at something.

I wouldn't take a 4 year old on Stitch's Great Escape, though.

Oh, not at all. It's one of our 4 year old's favorite rides.

It should be fine. Our son was 3 when he rode it and he absolutely loved Figment. He came home with a plush Figment and a Figment t-shirt.

My daughter was on that ride when she was 2.5, then 4, then 6. She wasn't scared any of those times.

nope not scary at all :) This was our favorite ride in Epcot growing up. Even now with the changes...still not scary. Its fine for your 4 year old.

There is nothing scary on this ride- however, there is one surprising moment when there is darkness and air blown into your face in your vehicle.

It is not scary at all, just unexpected.

My 4 y/o DS loves it. He was 2 the first time he rode it and some of the noises did startle him but overall he enjoyed it and this past time that we went back he kept asking to go back on it.

The only part I can think of that might bother a sensitive child is at the beginning, with the loud noise and air blown in your face, like a PP mentioned. This bothered our oldest DD when she was little, but she was fine if we warned her it was coming and/or sat at the back. Otherwise our DDs have always loved it!
