Everyone has been so helpful with ideas for my daughter's Kentucky State project. How can we go about making her model of Churchill Downs..the race track side. Thanks.

When my daughter had a school project where we had to create a "map" of Colorado, I went to a local model train store and bought landscaping supplies meant for creating model train scenes. Model train stores have all kinds of wonderful things for school projects. Just be aware that they can be rather pricey.

Yes, model train/hobby shop. They will have what you need, however as mentioned, it will get pricey.

Search online however as well, there are some tricks that people use to build things that might work out good enough for a school project.
