We are going on our first trip to the World without the DDP. My daughter and I have decided that we would spend the money on only one table service.

I realize that opinions vary, which is why I am asking everyone here. :tasty:
Here is my question:

If you could only pick one table service where would it be and which meal, breakfast, lunch or dinner and why.

Ohana's, without a doubt, for dinner. It's our favorite restaurant whether in WDW or out. Perfect lively atmosphere, love every course that is served, and live for the peanut sauce and banana bread pudding. Practically perfect in every way!;)

'Ohanas!!!!

Love the food and feel of this restaurant....both adults and kids alike can enjoy it. Relaxing yet beach going type of feel.

Let us know what you pick!!! Happy Planning!!!!:mickey:

Boma for dinner we do this at least twice on every trip. It is our favorite place not just at Disney but anywhere.

Tough question! I really had to think about it.

Super tough question!

If you have young kids in your group then I would pick Chef Mickey's for dinner. Great characters, fun location, and best sundae bar!

If just adults or older kids I would say Le Cellier. I love Boma too, but I don't think it really is as "Disney" since it is at a resort and not in a park.

Have a great time! You really can't go too wrong! :mickey:

Hands down, you should go to California Grill for dinner. It's a true 4-star dining experience. Pricey, but you'll never forget it. Fabulous food and service, fantastic views. Hey, when dining there, you're on top of Walt Disney World, literally and figuratively. It beats the #@%* out of Le Cellier, for food, service and atmosphere. The only place that comes close is Victoria & Albert's.

O'Hana's is fantastic! Very beautiful, laid back, & relaxing atmosphere, not to mention awesome cuisine!

Now gasp - go ahead! We're finally doing Chef Mickey's for our first time this year! My teen DS's now think it's funny, but for years they didn't want any part of it! So now "I" finally get to experience it!

Just did the Wolfgang Puck cafe, it's probably our new favorite in the category, but we've never gone full splurge or been able to do places like the Flying Fish.

The first choice is always going to be O'hanas and if that is not available it would be Le Cellier. Both are truly a great meal and can be enjoyed.

I am torn between Boma and Biergarten. Biergarten is more sentimental/fun. Boma for good food.

Dinner at Artist Point Wilderness Lodge.
It is a signature resturant but since your only doing one table service why not one of the best.
They have a great mushroom soup for an app.
Had a bison steak for main entree was wonderful. Will always have this on my list when we go back.

well for me and dw it would have to be Ohana's as well, the food , atmosphere and service is top notch and we've never had a bad exprience. this goes for both there breakfest and dinner services. the meat skewers are sooo good , but nothing compares to those wings.

Well of the ones we have tried I would definitely say Le Cellier. Boma if DW wasn't going!

I want to try Cali Grill some time, but will have to get the child care for that one. The little ones are WAY to rambunctious for that place!

Also, will have to try O'hana now since everyone has given it great reviews.

And now I'm hungry, and it's an hour until lunch...

If I could only choose one it'd be a real tough call between 50's Diner and Teppan Edo. :cloud9:

I guess it depends on what kind of atmosphere you want during that one meal . . .

I love the food at either.

Let us know what you decide on!!

We 110% agree! Ohana's & Kona are nice, but Wolfgang Puck Cafe just blew us away two trips ago. We made reservations again this past trip and yet again, found it to be our hands down favorite table service dinner! :cloud9:

That's a tough choice. Maybe even more that the rides and attractions, WDW has so many quality restaurants that it is hard to choose. Nonetheless, I'll try.

I'd choose Artist Point, which is my favorite and also my wife's. However, if I had to choose somethong with my kids, I'd go with Crystal Palace for breakfast and Chef Mickey's for dinner. :mickey:

I can't go to WDW without hitting Akershus - Norway Pavillion. The food is so good and different from anything else. Plus lunch with the Princesses is great for my daughter (and great if she isn't there too ). And my wife won't let me book a trip without Le Cellier.

My choice would be Ohana's next closely followed by Coral reef- they too have a nice atmosphere and did very nice and special things for our anniversary and my Father-in-laws birthday. Good Luck

Very tough question. I'd probably have to go with Cape May Cafe for breakfast. It's a character breakfast and we really enjoy the atmosphere.

Coral Reef for me! Followed closely by California Grill! Over our last 4 or 5 trips to WDW, the Coral Reef has been our favorite (and best) dinner each time! The food has been fantastic ( I highly recommend the grilled mahi mahi ) and the wait staff has been wonderful! I love this place! :mickey:

I have to answer this question with the dreaded "it depends."

California Grill is the premiere Disney dining experience, but it is fancy and expensive. This type of meal does not suit everybody, especially on vacation.

If you're looking for a more informal place, my favorites are 'Ohana and Boma. Also, my family and I tried Kouzzina for the first time in January to rave reviews.
