Maybe a corp thingy or something. I always thought MK was open late on Sundays, then this date stood out when I was checking times for my trip earlier in the month.

There's a huge sanctioned qualifier Ironman triathalon beginning at Fort Wilderness on May 16th - it entails a 1.2 mile swim in Bay Lake, a 56-mile bike course around Disney and surrounding property, and a 13.1 mile run which will finish behind Pioneer Hall at Fort Wilderness. My guess is that they're going to be having a post-event celebration at MK that evening, although I can't find any information regarding that particular scenario. There's some significant sponsors involved.
