My DD is 7 and in 2nd grade. Every Monday, her teacher gives the class time to write in their Monday Memory Journal.
She brought the journal home to share and I found the cutest thing...
We had just came back from a suprise long weekend trip at WDW (for Christmas) and she wrote in her Monday entry all about the weekend, but this was the best part....
"and then we went to my favrite park EPCOT and saw alloomunashuns riflekshuns of erth!"
I don't know if it is because we are her parents, but we just got the biggest kick out of this!! That is a mouthful for a 2nd grader and she new the whole name to boot!!
Guess she would have been a great commercial for Hooked on Phonics!
