Jan. 18, 1882 – Alan Alexander Milne (creator of Winnie the Pooh) was born in Scotland.
Jan. 18, 1913 – Legendary actor, singer, and comedian, Danny Kaye, the host of the 1982 TV program “EPCOT Center: The Opening Celebration,” was born David Daniel Kaminsky in Brooklyn, N.Y.
Jan. 18, 1941 - Actor David Stollery (Marty Markman of “The Adventures of Spin and Marty”) was born.
Jan. 18, 1952 – Disney’s Donald Duck cartoon “Donald Applecore” was released.
Jan. 18, 1956 – The Disney TV show “A Tribute to Joel Chandler Harris” was released.
Jan. 18, 1958 – The “Ken-L-Land” Pet Boarding Facility opened at Disneyland.
Jan. 18, 1974 – The Disney film “Superdad” was released in theaters.
Jan. 18, 1976 - Brandy Brown, from the 90’s TV show “The All New Mickey Mouse Club” was born in Alabama.
Jan. 18, 1978 – Junius Matthews, the voice of Rabbit for Disney’s Winnie-the-pooh features, passed away in Los Angeles, Ca.
Jan. 18, 1983 – Disney aired the TV show “Ferdinand the Bill and Mickey.”
