OK, I have to caveat this as the most difficult planning for a trip ever. I had to cancel with MJ because the plans had been changing on a daily basis and things just working out with the reservation we had. Nothing to do with MJ, completely my frustration and plans that could not solidify.
We booked AP rates a week ago for 8-nights at Coronado Springs for $1550. This wound up only being a 16-17% savings versus rack rates. I called back this afternoon and got a very nice lady. When I asked her, she agreed that it did not seem right. She checked all three other resorts (we are staying @ CSR). They all came back around the same $1500 price for 8-nights. She spoke to someone quickly and they looked into it. The new rate was $1350. Then, when she went to change my reservation, she took another $100 off. This covers 30% of the AP cost for my daughter and I.
