We're planning on using our Give a Day, Get a Disney Day tickets to visit DLR. What are crowds like after Labor Day and through Halloween?

We'd like to experience the Halloween decorations and everything. Are there any special events planned during the fall? :mickey:

I think most of the Halloween decorations etc are up by the middle of Sept. Make sure you see Haunted Mansion Holiday. There is also Mickeys Trick or Treat Party at DCA. That requires a separate admission to the private party. This last year Disneyland had Space Mountain Ghost Galaxy. My DD rode it and liked it. The fireworks, Halloween Screams was fantastic. Hopefully they will have these again in Oct 2010.

The crowds are not terrible, but then again using fastpasses, I never notice the crowds.
I am sure someone else will come by to fill in what I may have forgotten.

Hello
This past year Oct at DL was a bit busier than in years past because they were debuting Space Mountain Ghost Galaxy. The couple of times I went the parks were busy. The fireworks show was amazing! I really hope they repeat the show this year. Over all, I think Oct is a great time to go. The weather is nice in the day and cool at night. Holiday HM is up and running and is not to be missed. Small World may be down for its holiday overlay, but there are usually very few rides that are closed.
Another reason to come in Oct is to see World of Color at DCA. I cant wait to see this in the spring. Aside from weekends, weekdays shouldnt be that bad. Weekends at DL are always busy, but manageable.
Have fun planning
