My wife just suprised me with a trip to the world for Christmas.:joy: Every year that we go I try to find some small out of the way "attraction" that I call the hidden gems of Disney. Example: the rope pull outside of The Indiana Jones show or asking for ketchup at Whispering Canyon in the Wildernss Lodge. Little things that make Disney so special. What are your favorite "Hidden Gems?"

you just have to experience it. Needless to say, you won't be needing any more ketchup any time soon. :D

I can't remember the name of the shop (it's in Fantasyland just after the castle on the left), but waking up Tinkerbell is a lot of fun. On our recent trip to WDW in November we weren't the first ones in the shop, but the CM let my DGD ring the bell and make sure that Tink was still awake. It made her day...which was her 7th b'day that day and that made it even more special. What FUN!! :tink:

He is AMAZING! I absolutely LOVE him! My parents and I always made it a point to see him every time we're there! I will NEVER forget my father (who is a business man, very strict and organized) being picked to go up with Bob and pretending to ride a horse while Bob sang a western song! Some of my best memories are going to see him!!! Glad someone else considers him a gem too :number1:

Next trip is in September!!!!!
As Bob says.....
YAHOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D

I am taking my son and will have him ask for ketchup. Do I need to pack an extra shirt or something? Now I'm worried! We've never been, so I don't know what the above means. I don't want to spoil the surprise, I just want to know if it's messy.

No mess involved. Do not worry.

No mess involved but have your camera ready, or better yet, camcorder.

You also might ask for a "window seat" too when you get escorted to your table at WCC.

Definitely take the camera/camcorder....I wish I had when I went...would have been some really really good blackmail pictures of my DH if I had ;).

For Chess players, look very very closely at POC in the little "rooms" while you are in line
