AK: watching my kids at Rafiki's planet watch petting the animals, expedition everest, the walking safari tour.

I'll speak for our family as a whole. Sometimes we split up to hit different things as we have different priorities.

MK (We couldn't keep it to 3)- Big Thunder Mountain, Space Mountain, Splash Mountain, Buzz & Mike's Laugh House

Epcot - Mission Space, Spaceship Earth, Test Track and during the Food & WIne Festival, eating!

DHS (a.k.a MGM) - Toy Story Mania, Tower of Terror (for DD and DH), Rockin Roller Coaster (not for DS), Star Tours

AK - Everest (not for DS), Safari (for DS), Kali River Rapids (for DD and DS)

Downtown Disnday - The World of Disney (you can find anything there), Lego Store and Wolfgang Puck Cafe (have have to eat at restaurant as is it our favorite)

We haven't been to the world since 2005 so there are a few new rides/attractions that we haven't tried yet but of the things we have tried here are my favs:

MK - Splash, Haunted Mansion, Buzz

EPCOT- Mission Space (I don't ride by DH and kids love it), Turtle Talk, any placein the World Showcase.

DHS - RnRC, ToT, Great Movie Ride

AK = Kali, Safari, Bugs Life, Dinasour (I just couldn't stick to 3 here)

I know that this trip our favorites will change..We have never gotten to go on PoTC because it's always been closed. Plus there are a lot of new rides since our last trip; Soarin, EE, Toy Story.

MK- I agree with seeing the castle for the first time, having a dog at Casey's while watching Wishes and then the three mountains.

Epcot- Some throw backs to my youth here. SSE, Universe of Engery and eating at Germany!

AK- EE, Nemo Musical(DW's Fav) and Kilimanjaro Safari.

We also enjoy visiting each resort, also something from my youth, and all the sweat goodness that can be found in all places at Disney! Dole Whips, funnel cake breakfast next to the castle, ice cream from Auntie Grav's, and our all time fav... fudge from the Confectionary:cloud9:

I was in a quandry about addressing this subject. Having favorites means slighting some treasured memories. I resolved to answer it by ignoring treasured memories of special rides and times with special people, and instead, just addressing those things I would chose to do in the future, if I went on my own.

MK: POTC, BTMRR, and Splash...and, breaking my own rule, I experienced flashbacks of memories of things past!

EPCOT: Soaring, Mission Space, and Test Track...and a Special Memory award to Horizons

DHS: No doubt about it, TSMM heads the list, followed by RnRC and ToT

AK: Thought about listing EE three times....and giving Honorable Mention awards to K. Safari and a Must Do for me, Primeval Whirl; hate to leave out Donald's Safari Breakfast.

Special awards also go to three non-park experiences that are essential to every family trip to WDW....The MK Resort Monorail, The Epcot Monorail, and Chef Mickey's.

Standing in Town Square first thing in the morning & watching the reactions of people as they come around the corner, look up, and see Cinderella Castle.

Watching Wishes from Main Street, right in front of Casey's.

Carousel of Progress - Because of the history behind it.

Epcot:

Voices of Liberty & the American Adventure. I always exit the building all patriotic, puffed up, & proud.

The street performers in the UK pavillion. I'm an amature actor as well, and always wish they would pick ME. Ooh, they'd be in for a surprise...

The Mexican pavillion. You enter the building & there before you is an incredible old school Mexican market square complete with starry skies, Mayan temple, etc. Plus the smell coming from the restaurant makes you instantly hungry.

DHS:

Muppetvision 3D. I'm a big fan of the old TV show, and experiencing this attraction makes you feel like you're right in the show. Plus the pre-show is the best in all of WDW.

Hollywood Brown Derby. 3 words - Sidecar, and Cobb Salad.

One Man's Dream. C'mon, it's all about the man that gave us all of this. Plus, he's on my short list of Heros. Wish I could have met him...

AK:

Expedition Everest. I'm a bit coaster-phobic, but this is at the wild edge of my comfort zone. I love it.

Finding Nemo the Musical. If Disney doesn't develop this into a full-blown Broadway musical they're missing the boat. By far, the best live show WDW has to offer.

Flame Tree BBQ. Slab O' ribs, cornbread, etc. and a nice outdoor dining area with a view of EE. Plus, the agressively begging birds are funny & entertaining.

Our faves and preferences have changed much over the past 30 years. Twenty yrs ago, I would said any/all of the thrill rides (limited as they were), 10 yrs ago, it would have been anything our 8 yr old DD wanted, but now...
MK - all the "mountains", POTC, and ice cream on Main St.
Epcot - Soarin, American Adventure, and the WS eating and drinking tour.
DHS - RRC (still my fave to this day), Muppetvision 3D, and One Man's Dream.
AK - EE (love the backwards thing), Bugs Life, and the jungle trek.
Now, it's all about slowing down and taking time to notice the little things that WDW is so famous for.

I LOVE WDW!!! Everything about it. Period, end of discussion.

That being said - what I really remember when I get home are the small, unexpected moments - the Jammitors at Epcot. We once saw wonderful dancers with butterfly wings at Epcot, and also saw astonishing acrobats in silver suits. (I have no idea what the names of these groups were, but their images stay with me.) The street theater in England and Italy - the Chinese acrobatics. Drummers in Japan. The candymaker in Japan. Hanging with Aladdin and Jasmine in Morocco during a torrential thunderstorm.

In Magic Kingdom, the Dapper Dans, the wonderful pianist at Casey's, a saxophone ensemble! In Fantasyland! The band in Tomorrowland. The Sword in the Stone show - my daughters were too young to participate, but Merlin spoke to them afterward, and DD1 still remembers.

Street theater at DHS.

The looks on my daughters' faces when they saw the jumping fountains.

Character interactions. To date, all quite wonderful.

I love the rides and shows, and wouldn't miss any next time we go. But the small, spontaneous moments are what bring us back, time after time.
