Dec. 21, 1992 – The “Aladdin’s Royal Caravan” Parade debuted at Disney-MGM Studios in WDW. (Ended Aug. 27, 1995)
Dec. 21, 1997 – The Disney 2-hour made-for-TV movie “Flash” aired on The Wonderful World of Disney.
Dec. 21, 1999 – Disney’s “Fantasia 2000” had its London premiere.
Dec. 21, 2002 – WDW’S Caribbean Beach Resort, which has been closed since Sept. 8, 2002 for the rehab of the food court area, reopened.
Dec. 21, 2004 – Disney released “Where The Red Fern Grows” on DVD and VHS.
Dec. 21, 2004 – Disney released “The Young Black Stallion,” a prequel to the motion picture “The Black Stallion” on DVD and VHS.
Dec. 21, 2004 – At the Florida Film Critics Circle Awards, “The Incredibles” won for Best Animation.
Dec. 21, 2007 – The Walt Disney Presents Film “National Treasure: Book of Secrets” starring Nicholas Cage was released in theaters.
Dec. 21, 2007 – “Ratatouille” won Best Animated Film at the Florida Film Critics Circle Awards.
Dec. 21, 2007 – On Snow White’s 70th anniversary, Epcot’s iconic Spaceship Earth (closed for nearly 6 months), it reopened to the public with a new storyline and digital enhancements. (The attraction would formally reopen in Feb. 2008)
