Dec. 14, 2003 – WDW’S Pop Century Resort opened to guest.
Dec. 14, 2004 – Disney’s “Mary Poppins 40th Anniversary Edition” DVD was released. Bonus materials included an all-new animated short hosted by Julie Andrews.
Dec. 14, 2004 – Disney’s “The Princess Dairies 2: Royal Engagement” was released on DVD.
Dec. 14, 2004 – Disney’s musical production “On the Record” began performances at the Louisville Palace in Kentucky. (Performed for 6 days)
Dec. 14, 2004 – The DisneyToon Studios released the film “The Cat that Looked at a King.”
Dec. 14, 2005 – N.Y.C.’s Museum of Modern Arts premiered a new exhibit called “Pixar: 20 Years of Animation.” It is the largest animation show the museum has ever done, as well as the first time the material has been seen outside of Pixar’s Studios in Northern California. The show’s run into 2006 coincides with Pixar’s 20th anniversary.
Dec. 14, 2006 – Toon Disney kicked off its very first “12 Days of Christmas” event.
Dec. 14, 2006 – The Hong Kong Disneyland Resort announced an expansion plan which will add 3 new attractions for 2007 and 2008. “It’s A Small World,” for early 2008, a brand new parade for summer 2007, and a New Animation Academy on Main Street USA.
Dec. 14, 2007 – Disney Family Night at High School Musical took place at the Kodak Theatre in Los Angeles, Ca.
Dec. 14, 2007 – Miley Cyrus (star of Disney Channel’s “Hannah Montana”) visited Much On Demand in Toronto, Canada.
