Thanksgiving Crowds

Who went over thanksgiving this year, and how did the crowds compare to previous years. Is it worth going during this time of year?

If you are willing to hear 2nd hand info, I had a co-worker make the trip during Thanksgiving week; they arrived at Ft Wilderness on Fri before the holiday, went to 2 parks every day (his DW did the planning, said he was exhausted by Turkey Day so stayed "home" and watched football :blush: ), and departed FW on Fri after Thanksgiving. He said crowds were great thru the weekend but as the week grew closer to the holiday so did the crowds; avg waits were an hr for the bigger attractions (they didn't make good use of the FPs) Mon - Thur. He said it was about avg of what he'd seen over past yrs.

I know it's not a first-hand report but hopefully other posters will be along shortly and cooraborate my info.
