Nov. 29, 1999 – The 29th Annual “Candlelight Processional” began in Epcot at WDW. (Narrated by Alfre Woodard – Nov. 26 –28, and Charles Kimbrough – Nov. 29 – Dec. 1)
Nov. 29, 2001 – WDW premiered the first night of the annual event “Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party” in the Magic Kingdom. (Dates: Nov. 29,30, Dec. 2,6,7,9,11,13,14,16,18.)
Nov. 29, 2002 – The 32nd Annual Candlelight Processional began in Epcot at WDW.
Nov. 29, 2004 – It was reported “The Incredibles” had delivered Disney’s biggest single weekend ever at the international box office taking in $45.5 million.

Nov. 29, 2005 – Walt Disney Home Entertainment helped to celebrate Kermit the Frog’s 50th anniversary with the release of the Muppett films “The Muppett Movie,” “The Great Muppett Caper,” “The Muppett Christmas Carol,” and “Muppett Treasure Island” on DVD.
Nov. 29, 2005 – It was announced that Disney has renewed its Emmy-winning animated series “Kim Possible” for a fourth season.

Nov. 29, 2006 – The Disney Studio in Burbank, Ca. kicked off the holidays with a “Light Up the Season” event. Mickey Mouse lit the Studio lot tree, the employee choir sang carols and photo ops and crafty activities were offered to the public.
Nov. 29, 2007 – Disney’s Broadway show “The Lion King” finally celebrated its 10th Anniversary at the Minskoff Theatre. (The musical was unable to mark its gala performance on Nov. 11th because of a strike by Local One, the stagehand’s union.
Nov. 29, 2007 – All Broadway shows that had been up and running before the Local One Stagehand’s strike, including Disney’s newest musical “The Little Mermaid” (which is in the middle of previews) began offering performances for the first time in over half a month. Originally scheduled for a Dec. 6th debut, “the Little Mermaid” would now officially open Jan. 10, 2008.
