Nov. 24, 1956 – The second of eight installments titled “My Dad, Walt Disney,” by Diane Disney Miller as told to Pete Martin (a “celebrity friendly” writer) appeared in The Saturday Evening Post.
Nov. 24, 1968 – Walt Disney’s Wonderful World of Color aired part 1 of “Treasure of San Bosco Reef.” (Part-2 aired Dec. 1, 1968)
Nov. 24, 1994 – The “Honey, I Shrunk the Audience” attraction opened in Epcot at WDW replacing “Captain EO”.
Nov. 24, 1995 – The “Osborne Family Spectacle of Lights” debuted at Disney-MGM Studios in WDW.
Nov. 24, 1999 - The New Global Neighborhood opened at Spaceship Earth and the simulation ride was removed and replaced by a tree that gives a glance at the new attractions at Epcot.
Nov. 24, 1999 – The Disney/Pixar computer animated film “Toy Story 2” was released in theaters. (Had its premiere at the El Capitan Theater Nov. 19, 1999)
Nov. 24, 2000 – Disney’s feature film “102 Dalmatians” was generally released.
Nov. 24, 2000 – Epcot’s “Candlelight Processional” began in WDW. (Ran through Dec. 30th)
Nov. 24, 2000 – “Downtown Christmastime in the City” began at WDW. (It would run through Jan. 2, 2001.)
Nov. 24, 2002 – The Disney Cruise Lines “Magical Holidays” began aboard the Disney Magic and Disney Wonder. (Ran through Jan. 1, 2003.)

And now 15 years later its time to replace HISTA.

Mousemates, that was my first thought when I read Vince's post about HISTA being opened 15 years ago. Yep, it's time for a change . . .

Hard to believe, too, that TS2 was released ten years ago today. I remember how much DS loved that movie. :blush:
