So I am having a bad day at work. I am listening to Disney music from my playlist on my IPOD that I have for my daughter. It helps a little bit, but I am day dreaming now and I am walking down main street.....

If you could be at Disney right now, where would you be????

I feel your pain. I am also 977 miles from Disney (Indy) and wish that I wasn't!

I would be sitting in Epcot right next to the musical fountain. I can hear the tune right now...

I love this type of post. Since it is a Monday, which traditionally has been a MK day for us, I'll say that we're just getting off of PoC and heading for Jungle Cruise. I'm looking forward to our dinner, reservations at...Liberty Tavern? Hmm, we haven't tried that before, it sounds like fun!

I love strolling thru the rose gardens, particulary in Epcot with my hubby.
He'd be taking pictures of some of the beautiful blooms, and I'd of course be trying to smell each of them! :cloud9:
Then we'd head off on the monorail to GF for our dinner at Narcoosee's! :yum:

Reading these really puts me back at Disney....If I were at DW this would be day 2 which would probably mean Animal Kingdom. At this time I would probably be eating breakfast at Donalds....

I can relate to the bad day. I would settle for being ANYWHERE at Disney right now, compared to here. However, more specifically, I would prefer to be on ToT laughing/screaming my head off! :jaw:

Im with you, DW and I have had a lousy day for all of 09. Since she's spending day 10 in the hospital and Im stuck at work, thank you for a chance to fantasize.....
Its almost 830 on a Tuesday night right now, so
I am wishing DW and I to the volcano pool at Poly, for a romantic moonlight swim before we snuggle up in blankets on the beach to watch fireworks and the electrical water parade:lei:

eww i hope your wife gets better.

I would like to be on the magical express bus on the way to POFQ with everything to look forward to.

does anybody else hesitate to go to WDW because of how painful it is to leave? its like being madly in love and then having a break up.

Well, it's raining here, but I guess that's better than snow! and I've been laid off since July, no jobs in sight.......so it's been a lousy day since July, with the saddest part of this not being able to go to DW in the forseeable future.

It's Sunday afternoon, if we drove we would just be getting to DW, so I imagine myself driving up to the resort, my stomach doing flip flops :) because I'm so excited to be here, and anticipating every exciting moment of my vacation at DW, and happy that it's just starting:cloud9:!

It's 5:46 p.m. in Florida right now, and nine weeks from today will be day #1!

If I were in Disney right now, I'd be on POTC, feeling the slight breeze and watching the undead pirate steer his ship to the slow tinkling of "Yo Ho (A Pirate's Life for Me)" right before hitting the waterfall (that is my absolute favorite non-Jack part of the ride!)

I find it very peaceful to sit on a bench by the kiddie pool of Storm Along overlooking the water across at the Boardwalk. Very relaxing looking at the boats and listening to the sounds. This view has been part of some great trips and I love to sit and reflect.

Well, its now day 18 of wife in the hospital, so Im back for another dose of Disney escape..
Its Tuesday night, so it would be a perfect night to plan on a Disney movie and sing-along with Chip and Dale at Fort Wilderness. Robin Hood would be fun, or maybe Aristocats, something really "old school" that I havent seen for years. Pass me a chocolate chip cookie and lets watch the show:mickey:

If you could be at Disney right now, where would you be????

My family's answers:
dh - O'Hana's
DD 11 - Splash Mountain
DD 16 - "I don't know! anywhere! But it has to be Magic Kingdom! yeah, that's it...seeing the castle for the first time of the trip..."
me - oddly, my very first thought was of myself walking down the main street at DHS, looking at the Christmas decorations....probably stopping for a pastry before planning my day. I'm not sure why, but I LOVE that park ;-)

I'm a little torn...today is a lousy day at work (seems like most days have been lately) and I escaped for 5 minutes of Intercot time to clear my head.

My next trip will be my first with my boyfriend and I can't wait to share my love of Disney with him, so really anywhere would be good. But right now, I'm craving some relaxing...I'm thinking sitting outside on Main Street first thing in the morning with a chocolate croissant, a cup of coffee and him. That sounds about perfect.

The other two I was torn between were watching the dolphins in the Living Seas and riding the safari in the Animal Kingdom.

Its aweome to see my thread still going and taking people to DW for just a few minutes....I know as I read all of these responses it helps me escape reality for a moment and think about all of these great things.

I cant wait for our trip, its supposed to be in May as long as everything works out the way we are hoping.....if not I'll be using Intercot even more lol.

I will be bringing my 5 month old and 10 yr old sons. I cant wait!!!!!!! Have I said that already? lol

On our first we get settled into our room then hit the resort quick service and swim in the pool....we have no schedule to follow, no co-workers, no deadlines to worry about making, our cell phones are turned off, etc...(yes it's a bad at work for me too)...it's just our family having fun together

I would have just checked in (when I think of checking in, it is always at SSR our home DVC resort) and watching the kids go crazy playing in chairs their size and watching the cartoons. I would probably be making my way to Arists Palette to get our first meal, refillable mugs and first chance at shopping!

I'd breathe in the "Disney" air, smell the "Disney" smell.... gather the food, drinks and clan, put my sunglasses on and walk out the door to the outdoor eating area overlooking the main pool.
