Part of the new Space Mountain Queue includes lighted buttons in front of screens that are part of interactive games for those waiting in line to play.

Can anyone describe what the buttons do and what the game on the screen is?

I watched a soft opening ride thru video on another site a couple of days ago (taped last Saturday ) and it looked to me like a basic Asteroid game from the Eighties.The buttons help you take aim and fire the laser.

Still don't understand the Soarin' queue excitement. Soarin' to me is a long long line and it looks like you are in a ****** airport or warehouse

We did the queue in SM last week and it was basically as the previous post says.. hit a button and aim for asteroids etc. Not all that exciting to me but a time killer if you are in a long line (which we were only once).

I just made a remark to my family about the Soarin queue when we were there.. There was nothing in it.. not sure if this was just temporary or not..

I know it was supposed to open the 21st but nobody has really said anything.
