Arriving next Friday and this is first trip using dining plan. Going over the standard plan, it says that table service can be one of the following:

One Family Style Meal & non-alcoholic beverage
OR
One Pre-Plated Meal & non-alcoholic beverage
OR
Entree, non-alcoholic beverage, &
dessert

My question is, what is the diffence between a family style meal, a pre-plated meal and an entree?
I didn't see anything in the FAQ section. Thanks in advance.:mickey:

All of them are "main courses", but Disney has different ways of serving them.

An entree is a main course that you order off a menu, like a regular restaurant.

A family style meal is one that is served for more than one person, just like you would at home. Examples are Garden Grill and Liberty Tree Tavern, where a meal is served for the table, you can get seconds of whatever you like, but you don't really get a choice on the menu.

A pre-plated meal is one that is served to you, but again, you have limited choice in the menu. Cinderella's Royal Table is like this, each person gets their own serving (and again, you can order seconds of what you want), but it is from a set menu and you don't get a choice of what you want.

Hope this helps!

But, just so there's no conusion, CRT is a TWO credit location. It's not a one table service meal.

Buffet meals like Crystal Palace are also inclued unless they changed something very recently.
