Nov. 7, 1997 – The Disney/Touchstone film “Starship Troopers” was released.
Nov. 7, 1999 – The Wonderful World of Disney aired “Annie” (a new television production of the classical musical.)
Nov. 7, 2000 - Rolie Polie Olie was released on video along with three Disney Christmas videos: Winnie the Pooh: Seasons of Giving; Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmas; and Out of the Box.
Nov. 7, 2003 – Animation historian John Canemaker appeared at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art with a colorful and profusely illustrated multimedia presentation: “The Art and Flair of Mary Blair,” based on his new Disney Editions book. His lecture was followed by a book singing and a rare 35mm screening of Disney’s Alice in Wonderland, the 1951 cartoon feature principally art directed by Mary Blair.
Nov. 7, 2003 – The 28th Annual “Festival of the Masters” began at Downtown Disney in WDW. (3-day event)
Nov. 7, 2004 – The Korea times reported the city of Seoul, South Koreas, and the Walt Disney Co. have been discussing plans to create an amusement park.
Nov. 7, 2006 – The Disney/Pixar’s computer animated film “Cars” was released on DVD.
Nov. 7, 2006 – Disney announced that they are creating a video game studio, called “Fall Line,” to make titles exclusively for Nintendo machines in an attempt to bring its animated characters to a wider audience.
Nov. 7, 2007 – Walt Disney Pictures’ “Enchanted” had its London premiere at the Odeon West End.
Nov. 7, 2008 – The 33rd Annual “Festival of the Masters” began at Downtown Disney in WDW. (3-day event)
