Nov. 1, 2001 – Disney Theatricals and the coffee company Chock Full O’Nuts had planned to use this day’s performance of Broadway’s “Beauty and the Beast” to announce their new marketing partnership. But, as with many things in New York, the events of Sept. 11, 2001 has changed that. Instead, the companies contribute 200 tickets to the Nov. 1, 2001 show to Ground Zero rescue workers and their families.

Nov. 1, 2003 – The Wonderful World of Disney aired “Phenomenon II” on ABC-TV.
Nov. 1, 2005 – The “Disney Channel Holiday” DVD featuring the stars from “That’s So Raven,” “Lizzie McQuire,” “Even Stevens,” “Kim Possible,” and “The Suite Life Of Zack & Cody” was released.
Nov. 1, 2005 – “Disney’s Princess: A Christmas of Enchantment,” “Disney Channel Holiday,” “A Very Playhouse Disney Holiday,” and “Aliens of the Deep” were all released to DVD.
Nov. 1, 2005 – The soundtrack to Disney’s “Chicken Little” was released.
Nov. 1, 2005 – Beginning on this day WDW introduced special Tuesday afternoon meals called “Lunch with Walt Disney World Animal Programs.” Diners would share a authentic South African luncheon with a dolphin trainer, veterinarian or animal curator in the wine room at Jiko – The Cooking Place at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge.
