Rice Crispie Squares

Hi,
I want to make some Rice Crispie Squares like you find in Disney.

I know how to make the squares, but what about the thick chocolate on top? Is that just melted chocolate chips??

I'm running out of things to make for my son's HS football team, and I thought these would be a good idea!

This is the recipe I use for chocolate dipped pretzels:

12 oz pkg chips
1/4 cup shortening
Mix over hot water, not boiling chocolate chips and vegetable shortening; stir until chips melt and turn smooth. Remove from heat but keep chocolate over hot water.
