Refurbishing BWV?

I thought I read somewhere that BWV are being refurbished. Is this true? If so are they completely finished or in the process? If still in the process do you know which area is completed? Thanks.

I am gonna be there Nov 19-22 so I am interested too. I have seen what the new studios look like so they have been started. I anxiously wait an answer on the progress also.

I know that when we were staying there at the end of August beginning of September, they were renovating the top floor. The Manager on Duty that I spoke with at that time said that they were working their way down.

We stayed there 9/26 - 10/4 in room 4059 and we were in a renovated room. They were in the process of doing the other wing at that time.

What type of room is 4059? We are staying in a 2 bedroom preferred view room. I would like to request a renovated room if possible. Is there a certain section I should ask for?

If anyone has any pictures of the renovated rooms, could they please post them. There sure was a lot of work going on all over the resort this summer. I would really like to see the new rooms.

I'd love to see some pictures too. We are going to be there next week. I am keeping my fingers crossed that a renovated room might be available. :cloud9:

We were there on 9/25 for one night and again on 10/3 for one night; in between we were on the DCL cruise to the eastern caribbean.

On the 25th we had 3 studios on the 5th floor which had been completely redone. Really nice; you could still smell the fresh paint.

Upgrades included new linens and new furniture and flatscreen TVs. I recall they even had DVD players in the studios which is new.

On the 3rd we were on the 2nd floor and they were working on those units from the end of the hallway, forward. Again in 3 studios, the rooms had been newly painted however the furniture and linens had not been upgraded. No flatscreen TVs or DVD players this time around.

Also, the changes include new carpets inside the rooms and in the halls. You can really see the change with the new carpets in the hallways ... the new colors pop!
