How is the food here? We are thinking of grabbing breakfast there every morning. Do they have hot food like egg sandwiches and pancakes?

Yes, they have hot breakfast plates you can order, with things like eggs and pancakes, breakfast sandwiches, Mickey waffles. I believe you can even get the famous Tonga Toast. They also have things like yogurt, cereal, Pop Tarts, baked goods. It's a great place to get a quick meal.

We had the Tonga Toast this year at Captain Cooks.It was identical to the TT at Kona for about 6.50.We split one and we also got Kona coffee at the coffee bar for a grand total of about 11.00 for 2 adults to have an awesome breakfast poolside at the Poly!This will be a daily thing when we stay there in May!

We stayed there two years ago and loved getting the Tonga Toast from Capt. Cooks. They offered other bfast items too but we just got the Tonga Toast - YUM!:D

That is hard to beat Pete. Eve if you are not staying at the Poly Captains Cook has a nice outside eating area (weather permitting). It is a nice place to catch breakfast or lunch. :mickey:
