Hey all -

Everyone keeps talking about "the end of January" being the lowest crowds and MLK weekend being larger than normal. We're getting there on Tuesday right after MLK and staying through the following weekend. What do you think we can expect crowd-wise?

We're arriving that day also! I hope it is light. We went 2 or 3 weeks after MLk day last time and it was wonderful.

January unfortunately is not as slow as it used to be either...count 2 more people int those lines with you!

The crowds are usually lighter that time of year. Count two more of us there that same week!

You are KIDDING me! My family will be arriving that same Tuesday and staying until the next Wednesday. Maybe we should plan a meet over in the "Disney Meet" section. I hope you guys don't steal all my ADRs. I won't be getting up at 4am Pacific time to get a jump on everyone else.

My wife and I will be at WDW Jan. 6-14. We were supposed to go Nov. 1-6, but I'm recovering from knee surgery after taking a nasty fall photographing waves during Hurrican Bill at Beavertail State Park in Jamestown, R.I.
We'll be there for MLK Weekend and the WDW Marathon, but we're only planning to visit the MK and Epcot.
We like to get the 2-park, 7-day tickets at Universal for $99. We valet park there and it's a nice alternative to the Mouse.

HaHA this is funny.....I'll be there throughout Jan. I always wait for Jan because it is usually slower. I haven't had a bad Jan yet. Only thing is that Splash Mtn is always closed which I see ppl are expressing their thoughts on that in another post. Gotta roll with the punches sometimes.

We have not booked yet (still undecided where we will stay), but 4 of us going Jan 23 - Jan 30. Two weeks later than last year's January trip.

Wow, add 4 to the week of 1/23-1/30. We are staying at Pop and were hoping to see maybe 5 other people all week long...

Don't know if I mentioned, but we'll be there 1/24 - 1/30!

First tour groups, then cheerleaders...now...INTERCOTEES!
