How much busier is Studios on Fantasmic Night?

I have been thinking about avoiding the park on Sundays and Thursdays, as my assumption is that DS would be much busier. But I can't imagine a trip without Fantasmic. So what's the experience so far this year?

We were at DS on September 18 and it was the only night they had Fantasmic that week and the park was packed! We asked a couple of CM's if this was normal for this time of year and they said the park was dead all week. Everyone showed up for the show! Next time we are avoiding it!
