I just read on another website the wishes dessert party has been extended to 12/29/09.

this is true but almost everynight in december is booked already. I called about December 3-15 and they are all booked and the CM told me that there are less than 10 opens for the whole month. That was over a week ago so I am assuming they are all gone

We had a hard time getting a ressie for a party of 2 in December, but we did get one for the night we are going to MVMCP.

We had already booked all of our meal ADR's before it was announced that the dessert party was being extended, so that limited the nights we could go.

I've heard great things about the party, and DH and I are really looking forward to it.

Keep trying, even up to each night that you could go while you're there. There may be a cancellation.
