American Idol experience and Fantasmic?

A few questions about American Idol Experience.
On nights when Fantasmic runs at 7:30, does AIE also run at 7? Also, how hard is it to get a seat for the final show, and how long does it last?

When we were at WDW in July, the line started forming for the finale' before the last preliminary. They do have it on the large screen outside the theatre, though. We watched the outside version a couple of times. It's less crowded, we snacked, but couldn't vote.

We went to the finale show once and it was very crowded, the queue fills quickly and all the seats are usually filled, so they also show the show outside on the big screen. You can watch the show outside and text the number of the person you want to vote for to a number they give you. The finale show runs for about an hour, since there are seven contestants. The finale show is amazing, and should be seen at least once per trip!

(Also, what was really cool was that the judge "Rainy" looks just like Randy Jackson!)
