The clam chowder at Columbia Harbour House is 4.49, the one at Liberty Tree is 6.99. Is it a bigger bowl?

I don't know about the portion size, but the Columbia Harbor House is a counter service location, and the Liberty Tree Tavern is a sit down restaurant. So, that might account for the price difference.

I would agree with Mickey'sGirl - you are usually going to pay more for a TS restaurant item than a QS one. Look at the cost of cheeseburgers . . . you could get a double cheeseburger with bacon and fries at Pecos Bill's for $8.00, but you'll pay about $12 at Liberty Tree or The Plaza Restaurant for a single burger patty with fries (which is roughly the same size weight before cooking as the double one). More overhead = higher price per item.

Thanks for the info. Think we will stick with Columbia Harbour House:thumbsup:
