Sept. 25, 1999 - El Rio del Tiempo reopened after being renovated in Mexico.
Sept. 25, 1999 – The 4th Annual “Super Soap Weekend” began at Disney-MGM Studios in WDW.
Sept. 25, 2001 – Disney’s touring production “Aida” opened in Dallas, Tx. And would run through the 20th.
Sept. 25, 2001 – Disney’s half-hour TV series “Scrubs” began airing on NBC.
Sept. 25, 2002 – Disney’s hour-long drama series “MDs” premiered on ABC-TV. (Ended Dec. 11, 2002)
Sept. 25, 2004 - The attraction “Tom Sawyer Island” reopened to guest after a short rehab. (Closed July 25, 2004)
Sept. 25, 2004 – In preparation for Hurrican Jeanne, WDW closed its theme parks at 7 p.m.
Sept. 25, 2005 – The Disney Channel debuted “The Fall,” the second episode of the new series “Life with Derek.”
Sept. 25, 2007 – “High School Musical on Tour,” a new stage version of the hit Disney Channel Movie, began a series of performances as Shea’s Performing Arts Center in Buffalo, N.Y.
Sept. 25, 2007 – The Haunted Hallowen at Hong Kong Disneyland kicked off with over ten mysterious attractions and entertainment offerings filled with ghostly encounters. (Ran through Oct.)
