For my class we were just given an assignment that is due Wednesday. I am up at school so all my good poetry books are at home!
The assignment is to perform an "active poem". Basically I read a poem while music is playing and I need to make it "active" somehow, whether it be by acting it out, getting the class involved, etc.
The problem is I can't find any good poems that would allow me to do something like that. I tried looking up Shel Silverstein online but the poems that are available aren't good for what I need them for.
So I am hoping that you all have some good ideas for me!! If you have a poem title, or the poem itself please let me know, you'd really be helping me out! :mickey:
