Disney Cruise Benefits

I was wondering if there are any benefits of being a DVC member on a cruise?? We are going in November and was just wondering.

You'll get a lot of free things, such as DVC hats, etc.

There is also a Member's reception with refreshments, trivia contest and drawings for various prizes. And the DVC reps on our last 7-night cruise were distributing special DVC "pins of the day" at their desk on the 4th deck.

Also, you'll find a distinctive nautical-styled "Welcome Home" magnet affixed to your cabin's door.

The magnet should be on your door when you arrive. If it's not- just tell them at the DVC desk and they will give on to you.

Check your navigator on the first day- there should be a DVC Members reception that afternoon in one of the lounges. Make time to go to that!! That's where they give out the "goody bags" (hat, lanyard, etc.) and have the games, trivia, etc. where you might win even bigger prizes. It's lots of fun too!

I am going on my dad's dvc membership...I am on his account, but I don't have my own card. Am I still eligible ?? :cool:
