Show at Biergarten

My family and I love the show at Biergarten and love the enormous beers. We are eating dinner elsewhere that night, but would like to go there to have a couple of biers and see the show.
1) is this allowed?
2) on what schedules are the shows?

I don't know for certain but I think you'll be charged for the buffet if you're seated in the show area. There's really no way for them to know that you're just there for the beer and not eating (though, big clue, you won't be generating dirty plates...). If I recall correctly, there's a bar area outside the show/buffet area, and I think you can have beer there but that you won't be able to see the show without dining at the Biergarten.

Unfortunately, it's a dinner show, so it's not possible just to go in for a couple of beers. As far as the schedule, the shows are at 1:15, 2:15, 3:15, 4:45, 5:55, 7:00 & 8:05pm.

I do not know this for a fact -- but have been told that there is a balcony area with a separate entry for just this reason. Perhaps someone will chime in

no, the only way to see the show is to get the buffet, we've had the same idea too, didn't happen.
