Sept. 19, 2000 - The Little Mermaid II: Return to the Sea was released on home video.
Sept. 19, 2000 – John E. Bryson became a member on the Disney board of directors.
Sept. 19, 2000 – Monica C. Lozano became a member of the Disney board of directors.
Sept. 19, 2001 – In response to recent world events in Washington, D.C., New York City, and elsewhere, the Walt Disney World Resort further heightened security measures on their property.
Sept. 19, 2002 – The Disney TV series “Nevada Push” began airing. (Ended Oct. 24, 2002)
Sept. 19, 2003 – “Journey Through Time, the biggest pin trading event of the year took place at WDW in Epcot’s World Showplace.
Sept. 19, 2003 – The Disney/Touchstone Picture film “Cold Creek Manor” was released.
Sept. 19, 2006 – Sarah Uriarte Berry and Donny Osmond joined the cast of Disney’s Broadway hit “Beauty and the Beast,” Berry returned to the role of Belle as Osmond stepped into the part of Gaston for the first time.
Sept. 19, 2006 – It was reported that the Walt Disney Company has sold 125,000 digital copies of films through Apple Computer Inc.’s iTunes store in less than a week, generating $1 million.
Sept. 19, 2006 – Disney pop group Aly & AJ were nominated for “Contemporary Inspirational Artist of the Year,” at the 2006 American Music Awards.
